Reflect . . . And Move On! Page Kit - Mixed Media Monthly
At www.digitalscrapbook.com, Marissa has started a Mixed Media Monthly blog hop. She provides a word and a color palette . . . and I let my creativity lead me from there. The word reflect can mean many things, depending on the focus you give it. I opted to apply it my annual ritual of reviewing or reflecting on the previous year, letting go of what didn’t work . . . and moving on to what I can do better in for the coming year.
I say this with every blog hop, but she truly picks amazing color palettes. I love the juxtaposition of the hard, contrasty colors against the softer colors . . . isn’t this sort of how it is when we reflect and evaluate? The softer colors representing the grace I try to show myself, against the hardness of strong decisions, or even mistakes.
